Windsor Framework - Implementation of changes 29th April 2025

The UK Government recently stated the arrangements for the Windsor Framework are planned to take effect from 1st May 2025, but as part of its preparations, Parcelforce Worldwide will be deploying the Windsor Framework changes to WDM Online and expressLink from 29th April 2025.

It will be necessary to provide additional data when sending goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland from 29th April. The data required depends on the type of parcel movement.

The Regular shipping and Collection request screens have been updated to enable the additional data to be provided when you are sending goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland. If you are not sending goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland, no changes are required.

It has not been possible at this stage to make the necessary changes to Batch Processing or Auto Import, so it will not be possible to use these functions for GB-NI shipments. Any details included in import files will error, need to be deleted and processed as standard shipments.
